Brian MacNeill former head of Scottish traditional music at the
Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Dance and his student
Sarah Ann Cull spent the week of Sept 29th in residence
with the Parkway Central string orchestras. 
RSMAD Fiddle Exams were given as well.

passed comprehensive music exams of Grade 4 & 5.

PCHS ORCHESTRA HONORS

Parkway Central Orchestras performed in the Heritage Festival Music Competition
in Nashville TN in April. The Concert Orchestras received a Gold rating and
second place award. The Symphonic Orchestras received a Gold rating and
first place award.
Both orchestras received the adjudicators award for high performance scores.
The orchestras were also awarded the festival sweepstakes award.
Raymond Chen and Michael MacGregor were awarded
Maestro awards for exceptional solo performances.
