Symphonic Audition Materials for 2012
will be selected from the following scales, excerpts and your personal choice of solo.
Orchestra excerpts will be posted Monday  2/6/12.
It is important that we see your level and ability to learn orchestra
music quickly which accounts for the short preparation time on the
excerpts.
Let me know if you are not able to access them as of later Monday evening.  WC

I recommend going on You Tube and finding a performance of the Tchaikovsky Serenade Finale
(4th mvt.) There are many great performances.  This will help with tempo and style.
You do not need to play it to performance tempo.  Accuracy is far more important.
-2 minutes of a solo which best represents your playing.
